Irina Zheleznova
Irina Lvovna LebedevaBiography:
Regarding Irina Zheleznova, our sources have some uncertainty, 1929 was mentioned as a birth year in some of them. But it's more likely that her real name was Irina Lvovna Lebedeva (life years 1924 - 1987). Zheleznova was a kind of pseudonym.
Irina Lvovna Zheleznova - writer and translator, who seems to have worked for most of the major publishing houses of the former Soviet Union. She translated some of Taras Shevchenko's poetical works into English language in 1964, having original melodic and rhythmic patterns been preserved.
