The national film studio of Armenia. It has had some different official names over the years: Goskino (of Armenia) / Gosfotokino (1923), Armenkino (1928), Yerevan Film Studio (1938) and finally Armenfilm (1957). However, if you look at the credits of the first animated film made at the studio in 1938, it is already credited as "Armenfilm" (Арменфильм in the Russian version, Հայֆիլմ in the Armenian). Sometimes it is also called "Hayfilm" after the native Armenian name for their own country ("Hayastan").
