Description:

The children's writer Korney Chukovsky gets calls on his new telephone from various forest animals.

The original poem was written in 1924. An English translation by William Jay Smith can be read here (however, in order to rhyme, there are some differences in the translation).

This film features live action footage of the writer himself.

The above restoration was released in May 2025.
