Description:

A man has his own interpretation of paintings at an art gallery. A commissioned commercial for RSFSR state insurance.

This film makes heavy use of "limited animation", which was becoming popular among certain studios in the US and other Western countries as a cost-saving measure and a reaction against the Disney style. It also became somewhat popular in the 1960s in Soviet animation, inspired by foreign animation that Soviet directors saw at film festivals and as a rebellion against the realism of the early 1950s, but mostly lost its popularity in the following decades.

This commercial was actually the first film directed by Vladimir Pekar as a solo director. Otherwise, he would continue collaborating with Vladimir Popov on all of his films until 10 years later.

The first video above has more of the image in the frame but darker colours.
