Description:
A traditional Georgian wedding ceremony (of two jays) is interrupted by a mean-spirited crow and a hungry fox. Based on the story by Vazha Pshavela.
The name is an allusion to the Georgian expression "happy as a jay". Scenes from this animated film were later re-used in the 1984 live-action film with the same name.
Unfortunately, only very poor video copies of this film seem to survive. The second video above is an attempt at "restoration", but has plenty of its own flaws (including a few minor cuts throughout, hence why there are two sets of subtitles).
