Biography:

Considered to be the founder of animation in Sverdlovsk.

She began working in Novosibirsk, first in editing (since 1930), then moving into animation in 1934, and becoming head of its animation workshop in 1940. In 1950, she became an animator at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio, and a director in 1957.

Though she preferred creative work, she was also a part of the administration of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio for a number of years and during this time (in 1973, just after she directed her 1972 animated short about geometry) she was responsible for setting up the studio's Fictive Animation Division.

A complete filmography does not seem to be available anywhere. Her profile on animator.ru is incomplete and includes only the 13 films that she directed from 1980 onwards, while according to the studio, she directed 15 animated films in total and 25 educational (popular science) films.
